Scott Rawsthorne and Jon Shaikh, a duo who have been directing together for the last three years and who, as individuals, have each had a long career in television winning numerous awards for their promos. Having decided to work together, they quickly established themselves as a team who deliver exceptional quality in their work, always pushing the limits of what is achievable regardless of budget.
They first worked together on a very successful short film that was used to promote an anti-gun crime message and from there on have gone from strength to strength. `In 2007, they were approached to work on an experimental, low budget drama project that was designed to work on second generation i-Phones. Realising the potential for the work to have a life beyond the small screen of the i-Phone, Scott & Jon ensured that the 20 x 2 minute episodes of the series, named The Cell, had the quality and finish that has led to it being broadcast in the US on the Fox Network and to have been released numerous times across the internet in multiple territories.
After completing The Cell, they joined Tomboy Films to concentrate on creating content for brands online. Working closely with some of the biggest agencies in London, they have delivered films for Nokia, Ladbrokes, Eurostar and The Daily Mirror as well as creating films for some of the latest big games to be released in 2009.
In addition to their online and gaming work, Scott & Jon have worked for luxury brand Vertu, creating a series of films to celebrate the technical skill, finesse and attention to detail that the brand represents by matching the brand values with the quality of their film making.
