Richard studied film at the Royal College of Art and then sculpture at the central School of Art. He has directed commercials for many years, winning numerous awards along the way. His British Airways commercial Manhattan won the BTA's Best Commercial of its year. He has also directed many films including WIDE EYED AND LEGLESS with Julie Walters, RICHARD 111 with Ian Mckellan, THE GATHERING STORM with Albert Finney and Vanessa Redgrave, WIMBLEDON with Kirten Dunst and Paul Bettany. He has just completed his recent film MY ONE AND ONLY with Renee Zelwegger.
