Irish born JOHN is an actor, writer and director. He has written and directed Television in ireland and in 2006 wrote and directed the multi award Feature Film ONCE. This was a Musical Film starring and featuring the music of Glen Hansard of the Irish rock band THE FRAMES. ONCE won the audience award at the Sundance film Festival in 2007 and as a result of Stephen Spielberg's involvement gained world wide distributuon. It was a huge hit in the States and has gone on to win numerous awards since then.
