Study Forecasts Further Growth for UK Online Shopping

A recent study conducted by Forrester Research has revealed that the field of delivery services in London might grow during the upcoming years as online shopping is creating a strong hold on the retail landscape. The study has foreseen that online shopping in UK will rise by 11 percent from the years 2011 to 2016.
Forrester Research, which is a technical consulting firm, observed that countries like Spain and Italy are lagging behind in comparison to UK in terms of online shopping. The analyst of the Forrester Research, Martin Gill, was of the opinion that a number of aspects encourage people to choose online shopping as it involves finding the best deals and discounts as well as cheap delivery options.
Almost 68 percent of the European respondents opined that the availability of cheap deals was the main reason for them to choose online shopping and 69 percent choose to shop online as it saves a lot of time. Mr Gill also noted that the way people use the internet shopping is getting too cumbersome due to m-commerce and f-commerce.
Recent results by a consumer behavior research company named Shopper centric shows that technology is altering the way of shopping in many different ways.
